About Me

I consider my greatest accomplishment to be my two wonderful daughters. Lauren who is 14 and Holly, 15. They are my inspiration. I must also admit that my animals, 4 dogs and a cat, are also a huge part of my life. My husband, James Maloney, is A partner with Baker Botts, here in Houston.

As for me, I always knew I wanted to work with people. Initially, I decided to go into the medical field. I received my R.D.M.S.(Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) degree, and worked in hospitals and ob/gyn offices. My favorite part of ultrasound was sharing in those precious moments with families; is it a boy, a girl?? One, two, and yes, sometimes three!! It was so much fun and often exciting. However, there was also an aspect of my job that could be draining. There were those days when I left the hospital wondering why bad things happen to such good people, regardless of age, gender or status. Yet I knew that being there for them in their time of need was important. I am glad I had those times as well.

But, after a long battle with cancer, my brother passed away, and I knew I needed a change. I still wanted to work closely with people, but I needed to spend more time with my family. The decision to go into real estate was definitely the right choice. I still get to share in the excitement of a family finding their dream home, or the sale of their home to find something new. It has been said that buying a home is one of the most stressful experiences a person faces. My goal is to make what can be a stressful experience into one which goes as smoothly and successfully as possible.
